The Book Fair is a beloved annual Lower School tradition and will take place this year on Thursday, Feb. 27 and Friday, Feb. 28. This year we will be partnering with Children's Book World, which is located right in Haverford. Your student’s class visiting schedule will be sent home with your son and it is also posted below.
Activities include:
- Donuts with Grown Ups: the boys will have an opportunity to visit the fair with their parent or a special friend on either Feb. 27 or 28. If your last name begins with A-M, please join us on Feb. 27 and if your last name begins with N-Z please join on Feb. 28. (If your assigned day doesn’t work for you, no problem! Feel free to join the other day.)
- Book drive: Donate your gently loved books to Cradles to Crayons.
- BONUS! Book Talks: All boys will have an opportunity to participate in book talks on February 19 during community time
Volunteers are needed! We will need volunteers to help set up the Book Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 26 and help with various aspects of the Book Fair on Feb. 27 and 28.
How should your son pay for the books? We have three options! The preferred method is to buy him a gift certificate in the HSPA Shops. This makes for a quick checkout and there’s nothing you need to worry about little hands losing. Alternatively, you may send him with cash and we also accept credit cards at the event.
